Why Choose Pokhara, Nepal for Your Yoga Teacher Training?
Every yogi knows what Pokhara is like as a feeling, not just a place to visit. This city naturally draws you in because it is surrounded by the Himalayas and the calm waters of Phewa Lake. In this place, noise, cars, and other things don't get in the way of yoga. The calm pace of Pokhara, on the other hand, helps your practice from the moment you get there.

Pokhara has something that few other places do for yogis:
- A strong but peaceful Himalayan energy that calms the mind and grounds the body
- A calm, clear space where everyday practice comes naturally, not because you have to
- Space to grow beyond the mat, where stillness, nature, and thinking about what you've learned become part of your learning.
We choose Pokhara because it gives yogis what they really need: peace, clarity, and a place where change happens easily.

Nutritious Yogic Food in 100-hour Nepal YTTC
Have you ever noticed that some foods give you energy and others make you sleepy? That's not by chance. Food has an effect on everything, including your meditation, your practice, and your mood. A skilled chef makes each meal here using only organic ingredients, and all vegetarian meals are included in your 100-hour yoga teacher training course in Nepal.

What you'll be eating:
1. Three organic, vegetarian meals made at home every day, plus drinks that give you energy
2. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available
3. Fresh Sattvic meals made to help you practice and feel good
Yogic Food Philosophy - Why What You Eat Matters
Yoga practitioners don't count calories or macros. We look at how it makes you feel and how it affects your energy. There are three kinds:
Sattvic (pure, light) means fresh fruits, vegetables, cereals, and nuts. It makes you feel light and gives you energy. It makes it simpler to meditate and makes your body more flexible. This is what you'll eat here.
Rajasic (stimulating) means spicy, fried, or too much caffeine. It makes your mind race and makes it tougher to meditate.
Tamasic (heavy, bland) foods include meat, old food, and processed foods. Slows you down and stops your energy.
Traditional Vegetarian Foods You'll Experience in Nepal
You're not simply eating; you're tasting the heart of Nepal.
1. Dal Bhat
| The most fundamental meal in Nepal. Rice, lentils, achar (pickles), and tarkari (vegetable curry) are all things that go well together. Easy, full, and satisfying. You'll understand the power of it after a week. | ![]() |
2. Roti Tarkari
| A thin, circular bread made from wheat that is served with yoghurt and veggies. Good for you and tasty. People sometimes confuse roti with naan; roti is lighter and has a different taste and ingredients. | ![]() |
3. Dhido
| A traditional porridge made from buckwheat or millet. It has a lot of nutrients and fewer carbs than Dal Bhat. People who want to stay at a healthy weight eat this. | ![]() |
The truth is, you'll want to eat these dishes again and again after you leave Nepal. Not because they're fancy, but because they make you feel good. Light but full. Clear but down-to-earth. That's what authentic yogic food accomplishes.

- A $250 non-refundable deposit is charged to book your seat before the course begins.
- If you have to leave in the middle of the event because of an emergency, you won't get your money back. You can, however, go to the same course at the same place at a different time with the organiser's consent.

- You are in charge of your own health. Tell your teacher about your specific needs and follow their advice to stay safe. Don't keep problems to yourself; let us know so we can help.
